    • Fair & Transparent Admissions: Enrollment is managed through Oakland Enrolls, a third-party system that ensures equity through a public lottery. No interviews, no screening—every child has an equal chance.

  • Applications are accepted through Oakland Enrolls. For the best chance of securing a spot, follow the steps by grade level:

    • Grades K–5: Apply to AIMS K-8 (AIPCS II)

    • Grades 6–8: Apply to both schools for the best chance:

      • AIMS Middle School (more open seats)

      • AIMS K-8 (AIPCS II)

    • Grades 9–12: Apply to AIMS High School

  • When space is limited, enrollment is offered in the following order:

    1. Current AIMS K-12 students

    2. Homeless or foster children

    3. Siblings of enrolled AIMS students

    4. Students residing within Oakland Unified School District boundaries

    5. All other California applicants
