Message from Director of Schools

Dear Students, Parents, and Staff of AIMS K-12 College Prep Charter District,

I am delighted and deeply honored to continue my tenure at AIMS K-12 College Prep Charter District in the role of Director of Schools. As we approach the new school year, I extend a warm welcome to each of you as we embark on an exciting chapter together.

My name is Julia Li, and I have had the privilege of being part of the AIMS community for the past four school years. Upon relocating to California in 2020, I served as the Head of Division for Academics at AIMS High School for two years. In 2022, I joined the founding team to establish our Special Education program as the SpEd Compliance Manager. With over a decade of experience in education, I hold a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Delaware and Principal Certification from Delaware. My career has encompassed roles including Secondary Mathematics and Special Education Classroom Teacher, Tutor, Teacher Mentor and Coach, Director of Operations, Assistant Head of School, and Head of Academics.

Throughout my journey, my primary focus has been on fostering environments where every student can excel academically, socially, and emotionally. I am dedicated to upholding this tradition of excellence and warmth here at AIMS K-12 College Prep Charter District.

I am also fluent in Cantonese, which enables me to engage more deeply with our wonderfully diverse community. I eagerly anticipate leveraging this skill to enhance communication and cultivate meaningful relationships with our students, parents, and staff.

Our school boasts a proud legacy of academic accomplishment, character development, and community engagement. As we embark on this collective journey, my aim is to build upon these strengths and nurture a collaborative, inclusive environment where every voice is heard and respected.

I firmly believe that the partnership between home and school is pivotal to our students' success, and I am eager to collaborate with each of you to ensure that every child at AIMS K-12 College Prep Charter District reaches their full potential.
