The ELPAC exam has two versions: Initial ELPAC and Summative ELPAC. The Initial ELPAC determines whether a student who uses another language at home is categorized as an English Learner (EL) student. The Initial ELPAC is taken only once, either early in the kindergarten year or when a student is enrolled in a US school for the first time. The Summative ELPAC measures progress toward English fluency. It is taken by all EL students toward the end of the school year every year.
ALL STUDENT SCORES FROM LAST YEAR’S ELPAC HAVE BEEN UPLOADED TO POWERSCHOOL. PLEASE USE YOUR POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL TO VIEW YOUR CHILD’S SCORES. If you have difficulty accessing this, please email ELD Coordinator Ms. Bani at adria.bani@aimsk12.org
